JHPE

The Journal of Health Professions Education (JHPE) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and excellence in the education and professional development of healthcare practitioners. It welcomes original studies, theoretical contributions, educational innovations, case studies, and scholarly discussions that address current and emerging concerns in health professions education. JHPE publishes one volume with four issues per year and accepts original research articles, review papers, theoretical essays, educational innovation reports, case studies, and research notes. Accepted articles beyond the scheduled issue will be included in subsequent releases and may be made available online ahead of print.

All published articles in JHPE are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), which allows users to download, share, reproduce, and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper attribution is given to the original authors and source. The journal is committed to rigorous peer review, academic integrity, ethical scholarship, and global accessibility. It seeks to ensure that research findings contribute to the continuous improvement of health professions education, professional practice, patient care, and healthcare systems.

The journal strives to advance evidence-based educational practices across medicine, nursing, midwifery, medical technology, radiologic technology, pharmacy, dentistry, rehabilitation sciences, public health, and other allied health professions. It serves as a global platform for educators, clinicians, researchers, administrators, students, professional organisations, and policymakers who seek to improve the preparation, competence, and continuing development of healthcare professionals. JHPE encourages submissions that present innovative educational approaches, interdisciplinary perspectives, contextualised practices, and research-based solutions that may strengthen curricula, teaching, assessment, professional identity, and healthcare workforce development.
